The parishes in the Canonry Benefice support five schools. Three are local Church of England schools in Goodnestone, Nonington and Ash, and we also regularly visit Preston School and St. Faith’s in Ash. We take regular assemblies, go into classrooms, and support the children on transition days. Throughout the year we organise services and concerts for the different schools, from Christingle services (even in the woods!) to Easter, Harvest and many more. We look to foster relationships between the church and the local communities, by supporting the teachers and children alike.
